I toured this floorplan last year and my verdict was blunt: killer layout, but I couldn’t fit in it. For 2027, Flagstaff widened the E Pro 201SFK by six inches — from seven feet of interior width to seven and a half. That doesn’t sound like much written down. Walk into it and it’s a completely different camper.
I’m 6’1″ and 320 pounds. Last year I was turning sideways to get through. This year I walked straight down the middle. If you looked at this floorplan before and passed on it for the same reason, look again.

What I Liked
The six extra inches. I can’t overstate this. Last year I loved the layout and couldn’t use it. This year I walked through the middle of the camper with room on both sides. Something else may have shifted in the arrangement too, but whatever they did, the interior feels dramatically bigger than the number suggests. If width has been the thing keeping you out of small trailers, this is the one to go stand in.
4,213 pounds dry with a 550-pound tongue weight. That’s the whole appeal. This is towable by a lot of vehicles that can’t pull anything else — plenty of mid-size SUVs and any half-ton. Check your specific vehicle’s rating, but the barrier to entry here is low.
Aluminum under the bed instead of pine. Rockwood runs a six-sided aluminum superstructure, roof included, and it carries through to the bed platform. Most small trailers use one-inch pine there. I put a knee on it at 320 pounds without a second thought. On a pine platform, that’s a real chance of breaking your bed.
The front kitchen. Widening the trailer bought counter space and storage up front. Three-burner range with an oven big enough to bake in, microwave, stainless undermount sink with a high-rise faucet, a window over it, three pull-out drawers and real storage underneath.
The TV is on a swivel. ConX smart TV with a soundbar, and it rotates so you can aim it wherever you’re sitting. That also solved a problem from the old layout, where you were staring into the sun when you sat down to watch it.
Composite sidewalls. No wood to rot, delaminate or grow mold. You still don’t want a leak, but if one ever happens, composite is what you want between you and it.
The PowerPro voice system. Ask it your battery level and it tells you out loud. Sounds like a gimmick until you’re checking voltage without digging out a panel. There’s also an auto-detect fuse box that tells you which fuse blew.
Real off-grid hardware for a trailer this size. 200 watts of solar expandable to roughly 600, an 1,800-watt inverter, space for two batteries and two propane tanks, plus a 12V Solera awning that runs off the battery rather than shore power.
Exterior details that punch up. An outdoor refrigerator that’ll take a 30-rack, a pull-out griddle with its own storage, a table rack mount, frameless windows, a 3/4 molded fiberglass front cap with LEDs, and a 2″ accessory receiver rated to 300 pounds for e-bikes.
The shower miser. Simple thing that saves a meaningful amount of water on a trailer with a 31-gallon fresh tank.
What To Know Before You Buy
The bathroom is tight, and that’s the trade. One roundy on the rating scale with about 6’2″ of head clearance. Everything else in this camper got roomier and the bathroom is where the square footage came from. At 21 feet and seven and a half wide, that’s the deal you’re making — but go stand in it before you decide.
The bunk over the bed is gone. Last year’s model had one; enough people didn’t use it that Flagstaff swapped it for storage instead. If that bunk was the reason you wanted this floorplan, look at a previous model year.
Plan around 31 gallons of fresh. You’ve got 1,285 pounds of cargo capacity, so filling the tank costs you roughly 257 of it and leaves plenty for gear. But the tank size itself is your real limit on how long you can sit without hookups.
Who This RV Is For
Bigger people who thought small trailers weren’t an option. That’s the headline. If you’ve walked into compact campers and turned around, this specific model year change was made for you.
Buyers with a mid-size SUV or half-ton. 4,213 pounds dry and a 550-pound tongue weight means you probably already own the tow vehicle.
Couples and solo travelers who camp off grid. Solar, an inverter, two batteries, two propane tanks and a 12V awning add up to a rig that works away from hookups better than most at this size.
First-time buyers. Low entry price, low weight, composite walls and an aluminum structure. You find out whether you like this without a huge commitment.
Who Should Skip It
- Families — 21 feet with one sleeping area. This is a couples or solo camper.
- Anyone who wants a roomy bathroom — one roundy is one roundy.
- Long-stay full-timers — 31 gallons of fresh and 30 amp service sets the ceiling.
- Buyers who wanted the overhead bunk — it’s storage now.
